Confirmation formation is a dynamic one-year program for students in Grades 8-10 with both in-class and out-of-class experiences.

The program consists of two seven-week group sessions (Fall/Spring) composed of three in-person classes and three out-of-class experiences. The Fall covers the fundamentals of the Faith and the Spring focuses on the Sacrament of Confirmation and living as a saint. The 7th week of both sessions is a one-day retreat in the Fall and a two-night weekend retreat in the Spring (a small fee may be incurred). Confirmation will be in the Spring (date to be determined). Within the program are a mid-semester check-in and an end-of-year interview.

Program requirements: Parishioner of SJCC, desire & striving to live as a practical Catholic, must attend all classes.

Fees: $100.00 per student. No sibling discounts available.

Parent Information: Mandatory parent meeting (both parents invited) during the week of Sunday, September 18 prior to the Retreat Kick-off. Multiple days offered for meeting.

Volunteers: 20 Small group leaders needed! Requirements are a desire to lead teens to Christ and willingness to learn how to foster small group discussion. Trainings are from 3-5pm in the Youth Room on Sundays, (Fall) Sep 18, 25 (Spring) Jan 15, 22.
